It is a product based on an acrylic mineral raw material , mainly consisting of aluminium hydroxide. (natural mineral released during bauxite extraction) and polymethyl methacrylate (acrylic for short).

The advantages of these two materials are combined into an extremely strong and durable material.

Some characteristics and features:

-Solid -porous and homogeneous

-Moisture stain resistant and repels most bacteria

-Strong and durable

-Maintenance friendly

-Warm, timeless, beautiful and robust as stone

Exclusion of warranty for the entire Solid-Surface Just-Solid collection:

Improper installation / poor maintenance / limescaling / freezing / poor water quality / carelessness or impact / the use of abrasives, anti-scale or corrosive agents / changes to the original surface layer due to disassembly.

02. -What are the assembly / maintenance and warranty regulations of ceramic sinks and fountains?
Before mounting, check the sink / fountain for any damage and / or defects. Damage and / or defects that are passed on after assembly do not give the right to the guarantee "Assembled is accepted". If you have a defect and / or damage, we request that you contact your supplier directly. They ensure that you are helped as quickly as possible.

All ceramic sinks / fountains are made with a seamlessly baked mould. The ceramic washbasins / fountains are made from a mixture of clay, sand and other natural substances. The mixtures are milled, dried to a certain degree of humidity, brought to the desired shape and then baked (with or without a number of applications) at temperatures of 1000 to 1250 degrees. Ceramic washbasins / fountains are subject to dimensional tolerances due to the baking process.

Complaints concerning dimensional deviations and irregularities will therefore not be processed.

Take care when placing a ceramic washbasin in a niche, take the dimensional tolerance into account.

You must keep in mind that ceramic washbasins / fountains are not always straight and there may be unevenness in the viewing edges. Furthermore, it is not possible to perform additional operations such as an extra tap hole or an extra hole for a soap dispenser.

If, due to certain circumstances, you nevertheless get damage to your ceramic sink / fountain after installation, then the damage cannot be eliminated.

Below are a few points to keep the sink / fountain in good condition:

For daily maintenance you can wash the sink / fountain with a damp cloth with lukewarm / warm water.

Ceramic sanitary ware

Limescale deposits are the biggest problem with plumbing and especially toilets and taps. The cause is lime that adheres to all materials. The water comes on tiles, shower walls, faucets, furniture, etc. The water evaporates and the lime remains. A white haze eventually develops. Lime can even turn brown or red on chrome, aluminium and paint.

An easy-to-get product is natural or cleaning vinegar. It is best to place a piece of toilet paper soaked in vinegar on the affected area. After a night of soaking, the scale can be brushed away like this . Always ensure that the vinegar cannot dry out. Vinegar is acidic, i.e. the product continues to work until it is neutralized. You neutralize it by rinsing excessively with clean water.

When all lime has been removed, it is important to prevent a new attack. Because once there is limescale on the enamel, it will easily grow. A normal neutral all-purpose cleaner or bathroom cleaner can be used to prevent the formation of a thick layer of lime. This product does not dissolve lime, but ensures that the first, often hardly visible, deposit can be easily removed.

With sanitary ware, and in particular with washbasins, there is often another problem. The ceramics become dirty due to soap residues and skin fats that catch on the enamel. The correct cleaning products for this are the so-called all-purpose cleaners. They are products with a non-acidic composition. For very strong soiling, a special bathroom cleaner usually does better than an all-purpose cleaner. Normally, an all-purpose cleaner is more than sufficient and can be used for multiple cleaning jobs. Always remember to rinse everything thoroughly with water after every cleaning.

The use of abrasives is not recommended. These products contain components based on plastic or sand. They provide the abrasive effect. With intensive use, these products still cause a certain amount of damage to the ceramic materials.

Finally, a warning for toothpaste. If toothpaste gets a chance to dry in the washbasin, the enamel will be irreversibly damaged after a few hours and a dull area will appear. Always ensure that the ceramic is cleaned when toothpaste is left on it!

03. -What are the assembly / maintenance and warranty regulations for thermostatic valves?

The thermostat mixer is NOT suitable for a close-in boiler or low pressure supply. The thermostatic mixer is equipped with non-return valves, which ensure that water does not flow back into the faucet.

To prevent dirt from getting stuck in the thermostatic and / or diverter section, we ask that you remove the burrs and dirt from the pipes before installing the thermostatic mixer and flush them out for a while.

To open the main tap, also fully open our tap.

All dirt is removed in this way .

 -Installation:
With the included S-couplings it is possible to mount the faucet on hot and cold water pipes with a centre distance h.o.h . 15 cm.
Wrap the S-couplings on the wall side with Teflon tape. Screw the couplings onto the threads of the water pipes. Tighten the couplings so that the tap can be mounted exactly horizontally on the connections. Screw the cover rosettes around the S couplings. Place the union nuts on the S couplings: the left nut on the hot water pipe; the right nut on the cold water pipe. Tighten the nuts with a spanner or bahco. Wrap the cable glands with a cloth to prevent damage

-Adjustment (calibrating the tap):
Set the thermostat knob to the 38gr. position. Allow the water to warm up and measure the temperature with a thermometer. If the water is not at the correct temperature, press the safety button and slowly turn the thermostat knob until the thermometer shows 38 degrees. Do not turn any further and shut off the water supply with the left-hand knob Remove the decorative cover on the right-hand side of the tap and loosen the screw behind it. Set the knob again with the 38gr. indication. Now tighten the screw again and replace the decorative cover.

-Maintenance:
Dry the tap well after use. This prevents limescale and dirt deposits on the chrome.
Turn the tap on at regular intervals with the thermostat alternately at the highest and lowest temperatures.
This prevents scale deposits on the inside.

Troubleshooting in / build-up thermostat valve does not heat up:

-In / surface-mounted tap does not heat up.
It may happen that dirt has remained in the pipe during the installation of the build-in tap , so that the thermostatic element no longer functions correctly.

-Tap gives little water:
Dirt filters clogged- clean dirt filters.

- Faucet whistle:
Check valves blocked - Clean check valves

-Shower head / bath spout leaking:
Inside work dirty- Descale the inside work (only use cleaning vinegar)

-Hot water flows into the cold water pipe or vice versa.
Check valves clogged - Clean check valves.

-In / surface-mounted thermostat valve only gets hot or cold.
What could be a possible cause?
One of the possible causes would be exchanged connections for hot resp. can be cold water .
The hot water connection must be on the left, the cold water connection on the right.

Our built-in Thermostatic Shower Faucets comply with new European TMV2 standards see enclosed leaflet (EN1111 standards)

This is a mixer tap, so it is important that you ensure that you have the right water pressure and that the water pressure for hot and cold is the same.

The recommended water pressure is between 2-4 bar. If your water pressure is higher, you can lower the water pressure through a pressure reducing valve.

We advise all our customers to have your product installed by a qualified plumber CQ installer.

We cannot be held liable for installation and / or plumbing costs

MILANO, BOLOGNA, NEW-QUADRO & NEW-NAPOLI concealed thermostat taps

05. Stainless steel -304 "ORE" Faucets - Stainless steel Accessories:

To prevent dirt from getting stuck, we ask you to clear the pipes from burrs and dirt before installing the faucets and to rinse them for a while.

To open the main tap, also fully open our tap.

All dirt is removed in this way.

All taps and accessories must be rinsed immediately and carefully afterwards with clean water and dried with a soft cloth.

Toilet and drain cleaners, abrasives, bleaches and acids are not suitable for cleaning our stainless steel faucets and accessories.

Maintenance of stainless steel products

Yes, also stainless steel must be maintained to prevent rust. Stainless steel is alloyed steel and consists of iron, nickel and chromium. The amount of chromium in the alloy in particular is very important and determines the corrosion-resistant properties of the stainless steel (stainless steel may be called stainless steel if it contains a minimum of 11 to 12% chromium).

When the chromium comes into contact with oxygen, it forms an invisible layer of chromium oxide (also known as the oxide skin). This layer protects the underlying metal against further rust formation (oxidation). But stainless steel can nevertheless rust. Contamination of the surface of stainless steel can disrupt the formation of the protective oxide skin and thus adversely affect the corrosion resistance. In time, the stainless steel itself will start to corrode or rust.

Without proper treatment, this can greatly weaken the mechanical strength of the stainless steel construction. Cracks, cracks, and in particular welds, are an important source of contamination because the dirt is concentrated there.

Protect stainless steel against corrosion

Stainless steel is therefore not completely maintenance-free. It is therefore important to keep the stainless steel clean and to support it in the fight against corrosion due to, among other things, the above-mentioned dangers

We provide a 1-year warranty on identifiable manufacturing faults on the ceramic inner parts and thermostatic cartridges.

We can never give a warranty on poor maintenance, such as pollution, calcification and the problems that arise.

Failure to follow the user advice is also not covered by the warranty.

Exclusion of warranty for the entire RVS-304 "ORE" faucet collection: Improper installation / water pressure / temperature / unsuitable hot water supply / poor maintenance / limescale deposits / freezing / poor water quality / carelessness or impact / service parts / the use of abrasives, anti-limescale or corrosive agents / changes to the original surface layer by dismantling.

08 . BD LED mirrors / mirror cabinets / cosmetic mirrors IP44

Tips for cleaning mirrors.

Clean your mirror with a solution of half vinegar and half water. Moisten a sponge, a soft cloth or kitchen paper with this. Take the mirror off and wipe it dry.

Never spray or spray water on a mirror. If moisture runs into the edges and ends up behind the mirror, the silver-gray layer on the back of the mirror can be affected, causing stains or rust.

A lot of ventilation in the room where the mirror hangs is important! Also give the mirror space at the back so that it can breathe.

The warranty is voided in spaces that cannot or hardly be ventilated.

09 . Warranty period

1. The actual delivery date counts as the delivery date, even if the product is installed later.

2. The warranty is valid for defects that have occurred within the warranty period mentioned under point 1 and that, despite professional handling and compliance with the Warranty / installation regulations, are the result of material or manufacturing defects.

3. You are liable for a reduction in the value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods, which goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and operation of the goods.

10. Always the right masking tape.

We all know the standard masking tape that we can use for many applications and is always handy to have on hand. For paintworks, however, this masking tape offers two major disadvantages that you can override beautiful paintwork or varnished products in a hint, or should we say in a 'pull'.

These disadvantages are that:

The glue is not UV resistant. This means that this adhesive tape is not resistant to sunlight or just daylight. The longer the masking tape sticks and is exposed to light, the more it will stick. If this masking tape is not immediately removed after painting, it will take a lot more effort to remove the masking tape. The result is that, when you peel off the tape, part of the paint / varnish layer can come along or worse that you can hardly get the adhesive tape off and you need a putty knife with all the consequences of this.

The material absorbs moisture. The standard masking tape is made from a kind of crepe paper. Because of this structure, this masking tape easily absorbs moisture and can expand.

To meet this, there are already a lot of new masking tapes on the market that guarantee a longer UV resistance, both for outdoor and indoor applications. The latest masking tapes are also made from washi paper, a type of rice paper that no longer absorbs moisture. This is just as strong as the standard version, but you can safely hang it up to six months inside or six weeks outside, without the adhesive strength increasing.

11. Maintenance instructions Coloured Sanitary Ceramics / Plastic

The handmade finish layer closes the open structure of ceramic / plastic against dirt and external influences.

Clean coloured sanitary ware regularly with a soft, damp cloth.

Never use sharp objects, abrasives, scouring pads, sandpaper, steel wool or corrosive products. These can affect the paint layer.

Liquid soaps can leave a layer of fat on the lacquer layer, creating streaks.

12 . Shower drains

A built-in shower drain must be properly cleaned and maintained after installation (see Maintenance of stainless steel products).

Tiny iron particles are adhered to when cementing or grouting.

To obtain cement, four main components must be homogeneously mixed in certain proportions: lime (65%), silicon (20%), aluminium oxide (10%), and iron oxide (5%).

This may subsequently show rust formation. Cement or a grout is ferrous!

13. Why seal a bathroom?

When renewing the bath or shower room, the sealing is often not the first thing to pay attention to.

Providing the space with a new layout and appearance with other tiles, sanitary ware, faucets and bathroom furniture , that is what it's all about.

A bathroom sealant only comes into play during the final phase of construction.

Yet the sealing is not unimportant.

It ensures a neat filling of all seams and cracks that have arisen at the connection between wall and floor and the other sanitary elements such as sink, toilet and shower enclosure.

Moreover, it ensures that moisture, dirt, lime and soap residues cannot nestle between these seams.

If you leave that open, leaks, deterioration of walls and mould can develop over time.
